Kayla Kennedy

​Kayla Kennedy is a self-taught mixed media artist based in Austin, Texas. Her work lives in the space between abstraction and emotion — layered, intuitive, and deeply personal.

 

Originally from Long Beach and raised in Portland, Kayla’s evolving sense of home informs her exploration of identity, feminine energy, and human connection. What began during her studies in interior design transformed into a practice rooted in self-expression and embodied storytelling.

 

Through bold color, texture, and movement, she creates artwork that celebrates vulnerability, resilience, and the many versions of womanhood. Her pieces are not just meant to be seen, but felt.
