My name is Kayla, and Inspired by you represents the expression of my experiences throughout my life. It's an outlet for me to transform life into art.

 

While I've been creating all my life, 2017 is when I discovered a new way to express myself;

naturally leading me to a clearer understanding of self. I learned to process my unexpressed words right there on the canvas, hidden through layers of emotion that only I understand. Exposed and vulnerable, yet hidden and afraid. Exploring the depth of my soul and continuously blooming. 

 

Through art, I learned to release all my emotions and allow myself the space to feel all that I feel when I don't have the words to say out loud.

 

Each painting embodies a story and is a part of my life journey, inspired by you. So far, I've created for me, my release, my truth, my deepest expression. And I'll continue to always do so, but I want to challenge myself in this next chapter. To step out of my comfort zone and reach a new level of expression through connecting with people and learning their stories through their creations.

 

My hope for Inspired by you is to continue to share my expression through art and provide a

platform for new or existing artists to be featured, and to share their inspiration with us, through art.
